ARSENAL MIGHT LOSE SAKA TO CLUBS

Ex-Arsenal defender Matthew Upson has warned the club about the possibility of losing the services of star player Bukayo Saka to big clubs. Matthew Upson stated this in a chat with Stadium Astro as he said that the England international is an attractive player for the other big teams. He’s certain that Saka could be tempted by a big club with a better chance of winning the Premier League title in comparison with the Gunners.

Matthew Upson said that Arsenal have to do everything possible to keep improving Saka at the club and that the player must be made to feel like the club is moving in the right direction.

The England international duo of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe have been the stars of the Arsenal star for the better part of the last two seasons. The two players have the most goal contributions amongst the Arsenal players in the Premier League this season. Smith-Rowe has seven goals and two assists in the competition this season, while Saka has three goals and four assists.

Saka scored his third league goal of the current Premier League season when he added a third goal for Arsenal against home team Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday night. Brazilian attacker Gabriel Martinelli had earlier scored two goals to edge the Gunners 2-0 ahead before the goal from Saka ensured that Arsenal took a 3-0 lead into the break. Leeds United attacker Raphinha pulled one back for the hosts via a second half spot kick before Smith-Rowe came off the bench to seal the 4-1 win at the expense of the Marcelo Bielsa-led Leeds United side. Smith-Rowe scored his seventh league goal of the season six minutes after he came on for Saka in the 78th minute.

The win over Leeds United moved Arsenal four points clear in fourth place on the Premier League log.
